Monday Morning Gossip for 9/29/14 My weekend was extremely low-key and relaxing. I wasn't feeling that great so I spent both days taking it easy. I spent some time with my mom. I watched a lot of baseball, including yesterday's Yankees game, where Derek Jeter played his last game before he retired. I was very emotional. I also caught up on some shows I recorded during the week. I organized some of my scrapbooking & planner supplies and I also watched some old Law & Order: SVU episodes. Credit: Pinterest

September Blogging Challenge ; Day 27

Day 27: Your celebrity crush(es) I have a few celebrity crushes but my #1 is David Wright who plays third base for the NY Mets.

Thank You, Captain

Last night was very emotional for me as it marked the end of an era. It was Derek Jeter's last home game as the shortstop for the NY Yankees. I've grown up with baseball. It is one of my greatest loves and passion. I was born & raised in NY and I grew up rooting for the NY Yankees & the NY Mets as my dad took me to tons of games for both teams. Derek Jeter has been playing shortstop for the Yankees since I saw my first game at Yankee Stadium as a young girl. For 20 years, I've watched him play in person and on TV. He is the epitome of class, grace, and dignity. He is a true legend and an absolutely incredible athlete. Starting my love of baseball as a young girl, Derek Jeter, was one of the first players I started to follow. Derek Jeter was a captain and a leader. Every time he ran up those clubhouse steps and stepped onto the field jogging to his shortstop position, he played his heart out. I got goosebumps watching him play. He will be sorely missed by the Yank
