Books Read in November 2022

You're A Mean One, Matthew Prince -Timothy Janovsky (My Rating: 3 stars) I enjoyed this book and liked the storyline. It isn't a book I'll read over and over like other holiday/seasonal novels but it was cute. I didn't realize this is part of a series so I added book 1 to my TBR and added book 3 as well which comes out next year. Season of Love -Helena Greer (My Rating: 3 stars) I enjoyed this novel. I found it be a tad repetitive at parts which is one of the reasons I rated it 3 stars instead of 4. I thought it was cute but it's not one I would read over and over each Christmas/holiday season.

All of the times I shared with my sweet Pumpkin girl. Sadly, in October, we had to put Pumpkin to sleep as she had aggressive cancer all over her body.   A Very Merry Meet Cute -Julie Murphy & Sierra Simone (3 stars) I thought this novel was such a fun concept but I did find the novel to be a little lacking. I can't quite put my finger on it but I found it to be very slow at some parts. I did still enjoy it but it's not a novel I'll want to re-read every year at Christmas. I loved that the main character was a plus size woman, that was very refreshing to see.Warning: it was a very steamy novel so if you're not into that kind of novel, I'd skip this one. All I Want For Christmas -Maggie Knox (4 stars) First off, how cute is that cover? I really enjoyed this novel and would love to see a sequel (although most Christmas novels I read and I've read a ton of them don't seem to have sequels). I enjoyed the relationship between the main characters and the story line a-lot. Meet Me Under The Mistletoe -Jenny Bayliss (3 stars) I enjoyed this book a lot although there were some parts I didn't enjoy which i

Postcards from Summer -Cynthia Platt (My Rating: 5 stars) I loved this book so much. The storyline was very interesting and unique. I really liked the main characters a-lot. Love From Scratch -Kaitlyn Hill (My Rating: 3 stars) This was a cute rom-com and I think it would make a super cute Netflix movie. I enjoyed the relationship between the main characters.

Books Read in August 2022

Smells Like Tween Spirit (Class Mom #4) -Laurie Gelman (My Rating: 4 stars) I love this series so much. This book (just like the others in the series) are quick, easy reads with lots of laughs. This novel takes place as the main character's son is in middle son and on the wrestling team. If you haven't checked out this series, I highly recommend them. Every Summer After -Carley Fortune (My Rating: 5 stars) A novel that takes place at a lake? Sign me up! I read this book in one day because I could not put it down. Between the setting, the characters, and the storyline, I absolutely loved everything about this book. This is the debut novel from this author and I'm so excited to read more. The Summer of Broken Rules -K.L. Walther (My Rating: 5 stars) I enjoyed this book so much. Again, I absolutely loved the setting. I loved the relationship between the two main characters/love interests. I highly recommend both this book and Every Summer After as well. Short Story: Evid

The Agathas -Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson (My Rating: 4 stars) I really enjoyed this book. I found this book either through IG (I follow a lot of book accounts on there) or a blog. I thought it was a very interesting story line. It was a mystery without being scary or gory which my over-active imagination and anxiety always really appreciate! Flying Solo -Linda Holmes (My Rating: 2 stars) I had such high hopes for this novel because I absolutely loved the author's debut novel ( Evvie Drake Starts Over ), which I highly recommend. However, I was highly disappointed by this novel. While I did like the main character, I just couldn't get into this novel. I'm glad I finished it and I did enjoy how the author wrapped up the story. Hello, Goodbye, and Everything In Between -Jennifer E. Smith (My Rating: 3 stars) I enjoyed this novel a lot. I liked the characters and the storyline. This book was made into a Netflix movie and right after I finished the novel, I watched the

Adult Assembly Required -Abbi Waxman (My Rating: 3 stars) I really like Abbi's style of writing. This wasn't my favorite book that she's written but I still really liked it and it kept me entertained and interested. A Killer Sundae -Abby Collette  (An Ice Cream Parlor Mystery #3) (My Rating: 3 stars) First off, how cute is that cover? I love the colors, the ice cream looks delicious and the cat is so cute. I think this is the last novel in this series because she has started writing a new series. I think this series is very refreshing and cute. I really liked all three books. I liked that the series wasn't gory or suspenseful too much because my anxiety definitely gets the best of me with books like that. People We Meet on Vacation -Emily Henry (My Rating: 3 stars) I enjoyed this book. I've read all of Emily Henry's novel this year and while this wasn't my favorite novel she's written, I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. The Stand In
