Five on Friday

1. Spring Break

As of 6PM tonight, I will be on Spring Break. I have 10 days off from work and I'm so excited. I have some things I want to get done around my room and the house and I'm also going to do some shopping and as always, lots of reading.

2. Family Pictures by Jane Green

I recently finished reading this book and I absolutely loved it. It was so good it took me only a few days to read it. It's the first book that I've read by Jane Green and I added all of her other books onto my books to be read list.

3. Cute Dog Video

I love watching cute animal videos and I recently saw this one and it was so adorable.

4. Lemon & Cucumber Reed Diffuser by The Archivist

I received this in my March Pop Sugar Must Have Box and I set it out in my room today. It smells amazing and I'm definitely going to start purchasing this product after it runs out.

5. Quotes

I've always loved quotes and how there is always a quote to fit every situation/mood/etc., that I'm in. Here are a few ones I've found on Pinterest that I'm loving lately:

Pop Sugar Must Have Box: March 2015

Here is what I received in my March Pop Sugar Must Have Box:

^What Inspired the March box^

^Inside of information card^

Halfpops Halfpopped Popcorn in Chipotle Barbeque
Retails for: $1.69
First off, I was really bummed that I received this flavor. The flavors varied and I believe some people got this flavor and others got sea salt. I would have preferred sea salt as I don't like chipotle. I gave these to my mom.

Wet Brush The Squirt
Retails for: $4.99
I had wanted to buy a brush for like for a while now so I was really happy to receive this. I haven't tried it out yet but I think it will be perfect for the pool, beach, and boating.

Samudra Pink Pina Zip Pouch
*PopSugar Exlcusive*
Retails for: $40
I would never pay $40 for this but it was a cool item to receive. The picture didn't come out that great, though. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to use this for yet but I will definitely use it for something.

Greenmarket Purveying Co. The Archivist Lemon & Cucumber Reed Diffuser Kit
Retails for: $20
I really like diffuser kits so I was very happy to receive this product yet. I haven't put it out yet but I'm planning to this weekend. I think the scent will be lovely as I like the scent of both lemons and cucumbers.

Bliss Micromagic Microdermabrasion Treatment
Retails for: $48
I haven't tried Bliss products but I've always wanted to and I'm excited that this will be the first product I'm trying. I will be waiting to try this until my allergies calm down a bit.

Knock Knock What To Pack Pad
Retails for: $7
This will be great to use for my trips to NY as I always make a packing list up ahead of time so I know what I need to bring and pack.

Special Extra: Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara & POREfessional
I gave this to my mom as I have enough mascara.

Overall, I really liked this month's box. I would have rather had a different flavor food item but other than that, I really enjoyed this month's box.

Five on Friday

1. Welcome, Spring!

Today, is the first day of Spring. Although I love the warm temps, Spring is my least favorite season due to the simple fact that I'm a big allergy sufferer. Runny/itchy/red eyes, sore throat, and stuffy nose describes me to a T during the allergy season. Here's hoping that it's not too bad this year.

2. Glee Series Finale tonight

I can't believe that after investing so much time (and let's not forget money because of the awesome music) into this show throughout the seasons, tonight it all comes to an end with the two hour series finale. Lea Michele has become one of my favorite actresses and singers and before the passing of Cory Monteith, Lea & Corey were one of my favorite celebrity couples and Cory was one of my favorite actors/singers as well. While nothing can compare to the really awesome seasons of Glee (1-3), I have enjoyed all of the seasons of this show. I've brought so many songs/albums from iTunes and two out of the three Christmas albums. Thanks for 6 great years, Glee!!

3. March Madness

March Madness started this week. I fill out a bracket every year but I honestly haven't watched much college basketball this year. My bracket is doing that great because I had Iowa state going to the Elite 8 but other than that and having Baylor for two more games (and them losing yesterday), I'm not that bad off.

4. St. Patrick's Day

I'm 50% Irish & 50% Italian and I've always loved St. Patrick's Day. I love the traditional Irish meal and I've eaten it every year as my mom is Irish and makes it every year. My dad, siblings and I always used to play fight over the last piece of Irish soda bread.

That's all I've got for today.

Five on Friday

1. Past Weekend Highlights

My mom and I went and visited my aunt for the weekend. We spent quality time shopping, playing games, spending time with my cousin, his wife, and their kids, and eating yummy food made by my aunt. It was a really fun weekend.

2. Cute Video

3. New TV show: Secrets & Lies

My mom and I started watching this show and are very hooked on it. I've always liked Ryan Phillipe as an actor and he is really great in this role. This is mystery show and you can't help but wonder what the outcome of it will be. It's on ABC on Sundays at 9PM.

4. Baseball Season Is Back

Baseball is my all time favorite sport and I'm so excited that the 2015 season is starting soon. I grew up in New York and since I've been a young girl my dad has taken me to both Mets and Yankees games so I've grown up rooting and loving both teams and that hasn't stopped. I love that baseball has given my dad and I a special bond. I love watching games on TV and attending games with my dad.
