Books Read In August

I read 7 books in August. 1. Reality TV Bites by Shane Bolks This was a very light read. At some parts, I lost interest but towards the middle/end of the book, it was good. I rated it 2 stars on Goodreads.com. 2. Behind Closed Doors -B.A. Paris I loved this book. The writing was great it kept me on the edge of my seat. If you like a good mystery novel, I definitely recommend this book. B.A. Paris just released a new book and I'm on the wait list for it at my library. I rated this book 4 stars.  3. The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily -Rachel Cohn & David Levithan I loved this book, which is the follow up to Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. Even though I read it during the Summer, it totally put me in the Christmas mood! I hope they write more books starring these characters in the future. I rated it 5 stars. 4. Into The Water by Paula Hawkins I had really high hopes for this novel since I absolutely loved Paula Hawkin'

Five On Friday... A Day Early

I'm posting this a day early as I will not be able to do so tomorrow. 1. Trip to NY I went to NY for 8 days in August to visit my family. I had the best time. I got to spend lots of quality time with my nieces & nephews and my siblings. This was my first real visit to NY this year as I had only been for one day in February before I went to Turks & Caicos. I miss my family so much already and I can't wait until the next time that I get to see them! ^Photo I took when we landed at the airport^ 2. TBB Asks: Back To School

1. Did you love school or hate it? I loved elementary school but didn't like middle school and I only liked high school in the beginning of 10th grade and my Senior year of high school. 2. Start school before or after Labor Day? Growing up in NY, we started after Labor Day. When I moved down South right before going into 11th grade, we started before Labor Day. 3. Wake up: eager beaver or slow poke? Slow poke! I always had the hardest time falling asleep at night and would always wake up exhausted. 4. Favorite breakfast? In the Winter time when I was little, I loved Farina. Other than that it was usually cereal, oatmeal, or waffles. 5. Favorite cereal? Life. 6. School uniform or no uniform? I only wore a School uniform in 7th grade when I attended Catholic school. 7. New outfit for the first day or no? Yes. 8. Walk to school or ride the bus? I rode the bus in 7th grade and grades 10-12 otherwise I walked or was driven t
