I'm so excited to be spending the holidays in my home state of NY. I can't wait to spend quality time with my family and share the magic of the season with my nieces & nephews.

This trip back home is extra special because I will be meeting my baby nephew M for the first time. He is two months old and I can't wait to love on him.
Three: 8 year anniversary of meeting David Wright
On the 16th, it was 8 years ago that I met David Wright, my favorite athlete. My dad suprised me with tickets to meet him and it was one of the greatest days of my life. It was definitely a dream come true.

Four: Carole Matthews Christmas books
I've read two out of the four Carole Matthews Christmas books she has published. I'm currently reading the third one and the fourth one will be read after that. So far, I've read Wrapped Up In You and With Love at Christmas. The book I'm reading now is Calling Mrs. Christmas and after that I just have The Christmas Party left to read. These are such fun, festive, and entertaining books that go perfectly with the holiday season.
Five: Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to you & your family
I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season, a very merry Christmas, and a happy and healthy New Year!!

I love this bowl. It's the perfect size and so pretty. I'm using this to hold my bracelets.

This scarf is so pretty. The quality is great and I love the metallic speckles. I'm going to wear this on Christmas as I think it will make the perfect addition to my outfit.
Knot & Bow Parcel Tags
Retails for: $4
These will definitely come in handy during the year for labeling presents. I love the color too.
Williams-Sonoma Cupcake Mix in Vanilla Bean
Retails for: $14.95
I absolutely love cupcakes so this was a very nice treat to receive. I'm glad that they chose vanilla as I do not like chocolate cupcakes/cake.
Sparklepop Sydney Necklace
Retails for: $42
This is a pretty necklace however I'm not into the gold chain and the chain is also very long and not really my style. I gave this to my mom.
Overall, I really enjoyed this box and getting the Pop Sugar Must Have Boxes this year. As my Christmas and birthday gift from my dad this year, he is giving me another year subscription to Pop Sugar. I'm very excited for that! :)
I had been really sick since Tuesday and I felt awful all day Friday at work and at night I had a fever. Saturday I felt awful as well. Fever, body aches, chills, and I was still congested and coughing. I spent the day in bed watching TV and just resting.
I felt about 75% when I woke up on Sunday. I watched a Christmas movie in the morning. In the afternoon, I went to Walmart & Kroger with my mom. I got two gift cards for Christmas presents and Christmas cards for my mom, dad, step-dad, and step-grandma. When I came home from shopping, I wrote the Christmas cards. After dinner, I spent the rest of the night reading (the December issue of Good Housekeeping & the book I'm currently reading).
On Tuesday, I went to the doctor and got diagnosed with a sinus infection and double ear infection. I was put on amoxicillin (which I've had many times in the past). Fast forward to Wednesday morning when I woke up covered in hives and my throat swelled up. So back to the doctor's I went where my doctor told me I had a severe allergic reaction so I had to get a steroid shot and a new antibiotic.
Two: Christmas Movies
I've been indulging in Christmas movies since November 1st. I love all of the movies on the Hallmark Channel, and the ION & UP Networks. I also love the ones I watch every year like The Holiday, The Family Stone, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, Christmas With The Kranks, and more. What are some of your favorite Christmas movies to watch?
Three: T-shirt that's meant for me
This t-shirt sums me up perfectly.
Four: Christmas Shopping
I just have two gifts left to buy, 4 cards, and some wrapping to do and then I'm all set for Christmas.
I spent time helping my mom decorate the tree. I also read a lot. At night, I got a Stromboli for dinner from a local pizza place. I watched two Christmas movies: Comfort & Joy (which I watch every year) and a new movie called The Tree That Saved Christmas. I really enjoyed the movie because Lacey Chebert & Corey Sevier were in it and I really like them.
^Pumpkin supervising us decorating the tree^
I wrote out the majority of my Christmas cards (I just need to buy a few more cards). I also watched two more Christmas movies (Christmas In Palm Springs & Paper Angels). I read for a while and my furbabies, Davey Eli and Pumpkin spent a lot of time with me. I also watched the latest episode of Nashville and the past two episodes of About A Boy with my mom.
^The tree in my room. All the ornaments are on the top of the tree because Pumpkin thinks they are toys.^

Four: Christmas Shopping & Christmas Cards
I'm so happy that I have completed all of my Christmas shopping. I have just a few gifts left to get and then I have to wrap them. This weekend I will be making my nieces and nephews Christmas cards and writing out Christmas cards to my siblings. I also need to go to Walmart to get a few more cards.
Five: My 28th birthday
I cannot believe that in 26 days I will be 28. I feel like ever since I turned 25 my birthdays have getting here much more quickly. My hope for my 28th year is that I can find a full time job that I love and that I can spend as much time with my family as possible. I also hope for good health for both me and my family members.
My mom and I took a road trip to visit my aunt & uncle. We went out to Cracker Barrel for lunch and then we looked around in the shop there and afterwards we went to Hobby Lobby. We ate dinner at my aunt's house and then my cousin, his wife, and their kids came over for dessert. My mom, aunt, and I finished the night watching a movie.
My mom and I left around 8:30 in the morning to head back home. We stopped at Starbucks for coffee and breakfast about halfway into our trip. I spent the rest of the day at home relaxing.
And now it's December. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by!!
I spent the majority of the day watching Christmas movies with my mom. I also read for a while. The movies we watched are all ones we own on DVD: The Christmas Shoes, The Christmas Blessing, A Family Thanksgiving, On Strike For Christmas, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and The Family Stone.

Another day where my mom and I watched a lot of Christmas movies, this time we watched four movies that were on Hallmark Channel: Angels & Ornaments, A Royal Christmas, The Christmas Ornament (we watched this last year and loved it), and The Christmas Shepherd. I also vacuumed, made holiday Funfetti cookies, went to the grocery store for a few things and read for awhile.
This edition of Friday Five is going to be about 5 things I'm thankful for.
One: My amazing family
I have the most amazing family and I'm so thankful and blessed to call them "mine". I love being a daughter, sister, aunt, step-daughter, niece, cousin, and grand-daughter to the amazing family members God has blessed me with. I'm super blessed to be an aunt to 9 amazing and incredible nieces and nephews. I'm so incredibly lucky to have two amazing fur babies whom I love to pieces.
Two: My best friend, my mom
My mom is hands down my best friend. I love spending time with her. We can talk for hours, we always make each other laugh, and we go to each other for advice. Without my mom's guidance, support, and love, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Thank you, Mom.
Three: My job
I'm so blessed to have a job that I love going to. Working with kids is such a rewarding experience. I hope (someday soon) to find a full time job working with kids.
Four: A place to live, food to eat, clothes to wear
I'm thankful for having a place to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear. So many people in this world are not fortunate enough to have that and that truly saddens me.
Five: The health of my family members & myself
I'm so thankful that my family members and I are healthy and don't have serious medical issues. Too many people in this world can't say that and that is truly heartbreaking.
I spent the morning home and early afternoon home relaxing. I also vaccumed. I took my mom, step-dad, and step-grandma out for dinner at Outback to celebrate my step-dad's birthday. It was my birthday gif to him. After we got back home, I read for a while and then my mom and I watched Northpole on the Hallmark Channel. I love Josh Hopkins as well as Tiffani Theissan & Bailee Madison and I really loved and enjoyed the movie.
In the morning I Facetimed with my dad and afterwards I put up my Christmas tree in my room. Davey & Pumpkin are driving me nuts by chewing on it so much. I wrote all the birthdays and anniversaries in my 2015 planner while watching some shows I had on the DVR. I also read a lot and spent time on the computer.
