Erin Condren 2015/2016 Planner Review

As mentioned in my previous post, I posted my first ever Youtube video yesterday about my 2016 Erin Condren Life Planner. I didn't realize I until I hit submit just how many "um's" I said while filming the video. I'm going to chalk it up to being nervous because I really was. However, I had already submitted it and I didn't think recording the whole thing again was a good idea. The main thing I learned was to have talking points written out going into filming the video so as not to have all of those "um's" in there. I messed up on explaining some things as well but I still think it came out pretty okay for my first time.

Erin Condren is my favorite company. This is my sixth year getting a Life Planner and I'm still in love with it as I was on the first day I got one. Today, I will be writing a blog review about my 2015/2016 Erin Condren Life Planner.

First views upon opening my Erin Condren box of goodies!

I purchased the Ready To Ship Life Planner that came with the And So The Adventure Begins cover. I love that one of the changes that made is that the This Is My Life box is no longer on the inside cover. Since the covers are interchangable, this really pretty inside cover can also be flipped to use as a front cover adding another cover to your collection. A fellow Erin Condren fan came up this idea and it sure is a great one.

The This Is My Life Page and the vellum sheet that is before it.

The signature Erin Condren quote pages that I love. I'm a big quote lover and I especially love quotes made with the Erin Condren designs and colors.

The year(s) at a glance pages.

These two pages are new. I'm going to use them either as my goals for the month page or things that happened during the month that I love, kind of like my monthly happy/loved lists I post on here.

One new change is the addition of a lined notes page before the start of each month.

Another change is that the quote is no longer on the monthly layout but on a seperate page before the monthly layout which includes the tab for that month.

There are a few changes made to the notes pages as well. The bottom of the boxes no longer say meal plans/excersive/daily do's/etc., they are blank. The morning/day/night text that splits up the day's boxes have been removed as well. On the side, the polka dots are gone and so is the text saying Weekly Goals & Notes. Instead of the little month calendar in the corner of the weekly page that is in the 2015 planner, the 2016 planner has a section to write a thankful thought for the week. I really like the addition of the thankful thought box and I'm glad they removed the text saying morning/afternoon/night, however I do miss the colorful polka dots.

The notes pages are mostly the same except they added some graph paper pages. I'm not sure what I'll else the graph pages for but I know I will use them. I use the rest of my notes pages for books I've read that year, names/age/& school information for that year of each of my nieces & nephews, list of magazines I subscribe to and their expirations date, birthday cards I need to send throughout the year, books I want to check out from the library, movies I want to see, Christmas card & presents lists, and for quotes I love.

The 2017 year at a glance page.

The colors of the stickers have changed but the text has stayed the same. As always, you get 2 sheets of stickers with text and 2 blank sheets of stickers.

They updated the Keep It Together folder and it is now more sturdy.

Like last year, you get a perpetual calendar with your planner. I use mine to keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. I really love that they include this and I also love that it has a section for contacts, passwords, and important numbers.

The extras that Erin Condren has sent in past years, have been label stickers, some personalized with your name and others for birthday/holidays/etc. This year, they changed up their extras. They sent 3 compliment cards (which are really cute & adorable). I had brought a set of them when I made this purchase. You also receive three referral cards. I really like the idea of these cards but everyone I know online already has an Erin Condren planner so they don't really work for me. Also included was a coil clip. The coil clip allows you to attach an item (an invitation/picture/etc.) into your life planner using adhesive and by placing it into the coil of your planner. I've been wanting to try one of these and I'm sure I will buy more in the future. The last extra included was a sheet of the do it all dots which I've seen on their website and I have been wanting to try. I really like the special extras they included this year and I think it's really nice that they do that for every customer.

Erin Condren also puts their cute quotes on postcards and stickers and includes one of each in your box. I love quotes and I have every single one of Erin Condren's quotes from her Pinterest board pinned to my words of wisdom board on Pinterest.

Along with my 2016 Planner and a pack of compliment cards, I also ordered the Launch Bundle which included a pack of Erin Condren's new party pops markers and the new sticker book. If you really know me, you will know that I've been stationery obsessed since I was little. I've always loved pens, stickers, and other stationery items. I was so excited to find out earlier this year that Erin Condren had created her own sticker book and the stickers are beyond amazing.

The markers are really pretty and write so nicely and they don't bleed through the pages. You get 6 markers: red, pink, orange, turquoise, green, and charcoal.

And there you have it, that's the Erin Condren Life Planner for July 2015-December 2016. Kudos to the wonderful Erin Condren team!

    1. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the comment! I really appreciate it! :)

I really do love mine! This planner is my 6th Erin Condren planner and I don't see myself ever getting another planner besides Erin Condren. It's so fun to decorate and the company is so amazing and generous. Their products are simpy amazing. I definitely recommend their products. For your 5th, 10th, and 20th orders on the site (doesn't have to be planners, it can be anything), you get coupon codes to use on your purchases. After my 5th order, I get a code for $25 off a purchase. They always send you great goodies as well and they have really great customer service!

If you do decide to get a EC planner, I have a referral link. You get $10 your first order and I get $10 off an order. Let me know if you would like it.
