Fun Holiday Meme

I found this cute holiday meme on this blog amandaroseblog.typepad and decided to do it on my blog.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Wraps them.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Colored all the way.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No.

5. When do you put your decorations up? 
Mid November.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Spiraled ham.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
Spending time with my family, doing special things to celebrate the holidays with my mom, cookie bakes with my mom, aunt, and cousins and our family Christmas parties with all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins!

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? 
My older brother told me.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Growing up, we used to open the gifts we got each other on Christmas Eve.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
No theme, just lots of fun and festive ornaments.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
Love it but hate when you have to drive in it.

12. Can you ice skate?
No. I would break every bone in my body.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
My first big girl bike and my school set.

14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Spending quality time with my family.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Christmas cookies!! :)

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I have so many that I can't think of just one.

17. What tops your tree?
An angel.

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
I love giving a gift that I know the person will love. I get so excited for them to open it and see the joy on their face.

19. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum?
Depends on the flavor.

20. Favorite Christmas movie?
I have so many including the ones they show on Hallmark and Lifetime. I also love The Holiday, Christmas With The Kranks, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Family Stone and the movies I used to watch growing up.

21. Saddest Christmas Song?
One Last Christmas by Matthew West

22. What is your favorite Christmas song?
I have so many but one of my favorite it's A New York Christmas by Rob Thomas.

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

  In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. Books Read In November 2020

  In November, I read 5 books. Three are new to me and 2 are re-reads. All images are from Goodreads except the first photo is from Amazon. Love Your Life -Sophie Kinsella I liked this book. It wasn't my favorite novel of Sophie Kinsella's but I still recommend it and I did enjoy it. I rated this book 3 stars on Goodreads.com. Christmas At Fireside Cabins -Jenny Hale Another great Christmas novel from Jenny Hale. I highly recommend all of her Christmas books. The story, the setting, the characters... are just so sweet and fun. I rated this book 4 stars. In A Holidaze -Christina Lauren This is my first time reading a book from Christina Lauren and I loved it. I have the rest of their books on my TBR list. I really enjoyed this book. It had a really interesting plot and I loved the characters and the setting so much. I rated this book 4 stars.
