Here are the books I read in June:
1. Meternity -Meghann Foye (started in May, finished in June)
4 out of 5 stars
This was the author's debut novel and I loved it. It was a really fun read and it had such a unique story line. I really enjoyed this book and I'm excited to read future books by this author.
2. Truly, Madly, Guilty -Liane Moriarty
4 out of 5 stars
I won an early advanced copy of this novel through a Goodreads giveaway. I've read all of Liane Moriarty's and loved them all, including this one. This story had me not wanting to put this book down and I always feel that way when I read one of Liane Moriarty's novels.
3. One True Loves -Taylor Jenkins Reid
5 out of 5 stars
This is the second novel I've read by Taylor Jenkins Reid (the first one was Maybe In Another Life) and I loved both novels so much. What I liked most about this book is that I've never read a book with this type of story line before and I really liked how she sectioned the book up into moments of her life. Taylor Jenkins Reid has 4 novels out and the other two are on my To Be Read List.
4. Everybody Rise -Stephanie Clifford
1.5 out of 5 stars
I really wanted to like this book but I could just not get into it. There were some parts that had me so bored that I didn't think I would be able to finish the book. I did finish and it did get a little better as the book went on but it still was not as enjoyable as I had been expecting.
5. After You -Jojo Moyes
5 out of 5 stars
I absolutely loved this book. I read the first book (Me Before You) in May and I saw the movie based on that book in the beginning of June. I loved the second book just as much as the first one and I was not expecting to. I love how we found out about Louisa's life after tragedy struck.
