My Month is Booked... September 2026 Edition

As always, thank you to Farrah for hosting the link up!

Big Little Truths -Liane Moriarty

My Rating: 4 stars

This is the sequel to Big Little Lies. With so many characters and POV's, sometimes I got confused with the details but other than that, I really enjoyed this novel. I love Liane Moriarty's novels so much.

The Academy -Elin Hildenbrand & Sophie Cunningham

My Rating: 4.5 stars

This is the first novel I've read from Elin Hilderbrand because I really enjoyed the idea of a novel taking place at a boarding school/prep school. I loved this novel so much. The characters, the setting, the plot... I loved it all.

The Thoroughbreds -Elin Hildenbrand & Sophie Cunningham

My Rating: 4.5 stars

The Thoroughbreds is the sequel to The Academy. I loved this one just as much as I loved the first novel. I wish this was going to be a continuing series because I loved everything about these novels. I really want to read other books that take place at a prep school/boarding school now. I've read Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld when it was released and loved that novel too.

Everyone is Lying to You -Jo Piazza

My Rating: 3 stars

I love a good mystery and I liked this one but it wasn't my favorite. There were a lot of twists and turns and some that I didn't see coming. I think this would make a good movie for Netflix or a streaming service.

Comments

  1. I'm just about 1/2 way through The Thoroughbreds and am enjoying it just as much as I enjoyed The Academy.
