My Month Is Booked... May 2026 Edition

The Anniverary -Alex Finlay

My Rating: 5 stars

Alex Finlay does it again. This mystery novel is so good. I love his writing. "The Anniversary is an utterly compelling story of the hunt for a serial killer. But it’s also a heartfelt—and heartrending—novel about fate, innocence lost, and two souls who find that sometimes being broken is the only way for the light to get in." I highly recommend all of his novels.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before: the Graphic Novel -Barbara Perez Marquez (adapter), Jenny Han, Akimaro (Illustrator), Li Lu (Illustrator)

My Rating: 3.5 stars

This is the graphic novel based on To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han. I thought this graphic novel was so fun.

The summer of Second Chances -K.L. Walther

My Rating: 5 stars

K.L. Walther is one of my favorite young adult authors and this year she came out with two novels. Her writing is so good. I love all of her characters.

This is Me: A Reckoning -Hayden Panettiere

My Rating: 4 stars

Hayden Panettiere is one of my favorite actresses and I was so excited when I found out that she was writing a memoir. I really enjoyed it and I learned a lot about her.

First & Forever -Lynn Painter

My Rating: 5 stars

This is an adult fiction novel from Lynn Painter. She writes both adult fiction novels and young adult novels. Another great novel from Lynn! This novel involves the fake dating trope which is a trope I love.

Student Union (The Undergrads #1) -Julie Murphy

My Rating: 4.5 stars

From Goodreads: From #1 New York Times–bestselling author Julie Murphy comes a sexy rom com about a college marriage of convenience that goes way beyond chemistry 101...The first in a trilogy of romance novels that follows a group of girls as they navigate love, friendship, and new adulthood, this is perfect for fans of Elle Kennedy and Hannah Grace.
I loved this novel so much. The two main characters and their storyline were so great and I loved the MC's relationships with their friends. I'm so excited for the second novel in this series which comes later this year.
