What We're Eating This Week...

Monday: Leftovers
Tuesday: Cheeseburger, fries, veggies
Wednesday: Ham steak, potatoes or rice, veggies
Thursday: Tacos
Friday: Spaghetti squash lasagna (with ground turkey instead of beef)
I'm not sure about the weekend.

What I'm Reminiscing About...

I'm thinking about 2015 when the NY Mets (the baseball team I root for) was in the World Series. Sadly, they didn't win the series.

What I'm Loving...

This is my favorite time of year! Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas

What I've Been Up To...

I've been dealing with some medical and pain issues again so there's been a lot of resting/down time.

What I'm Dreading...

The pain I'm in constantly.

What I'm Working On...

Nothing at the moment.

What I'm Excited About...

Like I mentioned above, this is my favorite time of year (Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas). I'm super excited for all of the new Christmas movies coming out on the Hallmark channels, Lifetime, Netflix, and other TV channels.

What I'm Watching/Reading...

Watching... Halloween themed movies, playoff baseball, regular TV shows and Christmas movies.
Reading... The Holiday Swap -Maggie Knox

What I'm Listening To...

I'm starting to listen to Christmas music.

What I'm Wearing...

Lounge clothes or pajamas when home which is often. Shirts and leggings/jeggings when I'm out.

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

This weekend is Halloween so I will be watching lots of Halloween themed movies.

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...

My step-dad's birthday, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday.

What Else Is New...

I think I covered everything.

  1. I'm belatedly catching up on my "What's Up Wednesday" reading. I'm sorry you've been having pain. And I really need to start watching Hallmark movies -- we've been too busy. Yikes.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
