Books Read In July 2020

All images are from Goodreads.com except the Playing Nicely cover picture is from Amazon.

In July, I read 9 books.

The Perfect Wife -JP Delaney
This was kind of a hard book for me to get into. There was a lot of scientific talk and for me because of that reason the novel didn't flow well. I did end up liking the book just not as much as I thought I would. I rated it 3 stars on Goodreads.

Summerlost -Ally Condie
This was a cute story, not one of my favorite books ever, but it held my interest. This was such a quick read that I think I read it in one day. The story line was very creative. I rated it 3 stars.

Summer Days & Summer Nights -Multiple Authors
I re-read this book because it's a Summer themed book. While I don't like it as much as the holiday/winter themed book by multiple authors, I still enjoyed it a lot. I rated it 3 stars.

Rules For Being A Girl -Candace Bushnell & Katie Cotugno
I liked this book and found it enjoyable even though it wasn't a favorite. I rated it 3 stars.

Reputation -Sara Shepard
Another enjoyable book even though it wasn't a favorite. I rated it 3 stars.

Playing Nice -JP Delaney
I won this book from a Goodreads.com contest. The story line was very creative and I enjoyed this book. I rated it 3 stars.

The View From Here -Hannah McKinnon
I love this author so much and this was her newest release. I loved this book so much. I love the settings of her novels and the story lines and this book was just as great as her other novels. I rated this book 5 stars.

10 Things I Hate About Pinky -Sandhya Menon
I like this Young Adult author. This book was good but it wasn't my favorite novel by her. I rated it 3 stars.

Evvie Drake Starts Over -Linda Holmes
I loved this book so much. Along with The View From Here by Hannah McKinnon, it was my other favorite top novel of the month and one of my favorite books of the year. I loved the characters, the story line and the setting. I highly recommend this book. I also recommend Hannah McKinnon and all of her novels. I rated this book 5 stars.

I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...
