Books Read In June 2020

In June, I read 5 books.
(All images are from Goodreads, except the last two are from Amazon.)

Things You Save In A Fire -Katherine Center

I loved this book so much and it's on my top favorite list of the books I've read so far this year. I love this author's writing and read two more of her books this month as well. Her newest book just came out and I'm on the waitlist for that book at the library. I highly recommend this book. I rated this book 5 stars on Goodreads.com.

How To Walk Away -Katherine Center

I liked this book a lot and would recommend it. It was my favorite book but I still rated it 3 stars.

The Lost Husband -Katherine Center

This was a super cute book. I rated it 3 stars.

I Was Told It Would Get Easier -Abbi Waxman

I loved this book so much. Abbi Waxman's book The Bookish Life of Nina Hill was one of my favorite books that I read last year and I added this to my list of my favorite books for 2020. I really enjoyed that the book is about a mother and daughter and their relationship. Each chapter is told from either the mother or the daughter's viewpoint. I rated this book 5 stars.

Incomparable -Brie & Nikki Bella

I used to be a hardcore WWE wrestling fan. While I stopped watching wrestling late in high school, I watch the shows Total Divas focusing on the women in the WWE, and I also watch the spin-off Total Bellas which focuses on Brie & Nikki Bella and their families. I love both of these shows and I love the Bella twins and I was so excited to read their book. I really enjoyed it and like it a lot. I rated it 4 stars on Goodreads.

  3. I'm a huge fan of both Katherine Center and Abbi Waxman. They are a nice balance to the heavy and dark books I usually read.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
