I can't wait to spend a week in NY this summer and to spend some much needed quality time with my family especially my amazing & wonderful nieces & nephews Needing... To go food shopping Wanting... For the Mets sneakers I want to buy to become available in my size. They sold out of my size a day before I was going to buy them. Excited... For a three day weekend. I worked five 12 hour shifts this week and I'm so glad to have a three day weekend to relax and take it easy. Hoping... The tropical storm that we're supposed to be getting this weekend isn't bad. 1. Mother's Day Recap I treated my mom, grandma, and aunt to the movies. We saw Mother's Day and we all loved it! After the movies, we met up with my step-dad and ate a late lunch/early dinner at PF Changs. It was a really fun day. I gave my mom a Thank You, Mom keepsake book with a long letter that I wrote, a card, and a picture frame. I had a wonderful day celebrating my mom who is my best friend in the whole world and my favorite person to spend time with. She inspires me every day and I'm so very proud to be her daughter! Feeling... Content. Reading... Me Before You by JoJo Moyes. I'm late to the game with reading this book but I wanted to see the movie when it came out so I picked it up with a 20% off coupon I had for Barnes & Noble over the weekend. I'm 150 pages in and I'm loving it. Watching... This morning I watched the latest episodes of Chicago PD, Law & Order: SVU, and Little People, Big World. Listening To... Sam Hunt, Kenny Chesney, Cole Swindell, Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Esmee Denters, Kate Voegele Thinking About... Things I need to do this weekend Wanting/Needing... New sneakers. Excited... I have my first substitute job. It's for 10 days. Loving... 1. Family Visit I had family visit last week and it was so much fun! My sister C, BIL A, niece A, nephew M came down and we had lots of fun and good times. We spent lots of quality time together, celebrated my sister's birthday, did some shopping, and ate lots of yummy food.
