1. Luke Perry

This first one is not a favorite. One of my favorite actors and one of my first celebrity crushes passed away on Monday after suffering a massive stroke. I'm so saddened by this news. When Beverly Hills, 90210 first started airing, I was too young to watch it. I have vivid memories of sneaking downstairs and hiding between the couch and the end table to try and watch Luke Perry as Dylan McKay because I thought he was so hot & handsome and so talented. Now as an adult, I've watched every single episode of that show multiple times and own the series on DVD. My thoughts and prayers are with his children, his family and his friends.  The stories that have come out about him this week have touched my heart. He was such a good, kind, sweet man. Heaven gained an angel, that's for sure.

2. Northern Rescue on Netflix

Over the weekend, I binge watched the show Northern Rescue on Netflix and I highly recommend it. The first season has 10 episodes and now I'm hoping that season 2 comes out sooner rather than later but I don't think it's coming out until next year. It stars William Baldwin and Kathleen Robertson (who was on Beverly Hills 90210).

3. Bestie Time

Tonight, I'm having dinner with my best friend/co-worker and I can't wait to see her tonight and have some quality bestie time. We are going out for Mexican food which is fitting since she's the one who got me addicted to avocados and guacamole.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
