What's Up Wednesday: March 2019 Edition

What We’re Eating This Week… Monday: My mom and step-dad went to Outback. I wanted to stay home but they brought me food home. I had steak and lobster tail with a Caesar salad. Tuesday: Salmon, veggies Wednesday: Not sure Thursday: Cobb salad from T.G.I. Friday’s and I’m not sure about the rest of the week. What I’m Reminiscing About… The past two years that I attended Go Wild. Go Wild is the biggest national planner conference for paper planners. Go Wild 2017 was in Nashville, TN. Last year, it was in Austin, Texas. This year it is in Las Vegas. What I’m Loving… I’ve been re-watching Beverly Hills, 90210 from the beginning and I’m loving it. It’s definitely one of my all time favorite shows. I’m also loving spending time with my mom. What I’ve Been Up To… I’m still on medical leave and will be until mid-May. I’ve been having lots of doctors’ appointments. Last week, I ended up having to have surgery because I developed a nasal abscess in my nose

1. Planner Videos for my Youtube Channel I started posting new planner videos to my Youtube channel this week. I posted some in the past. Baking/Cooking This week, I made a strawberry cake (nothing fancy, just a box mix) and next week, I will be making a recipe I found from the cook at my job which is a fiesta tuna dish. I will also be making a Cobb salad. I love the Cobb salad that T.G.I. Fridays sells and I’m going to try and re-create it at home. 3. St. Patrick’s Day This Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day. I’m 50% Irish and 50% Italian so we have always celebrated the holiday in my family. My mom makes the traditional Irish meal of corn beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and Irish Soda bread. My mom’s Irish Soda bread is the best.  Credit: Heather St

1. Luke Perry This first one is not a favorite. One of my favorite actors and one of my first celebrity crushes passed away on Monday after suffering a massive stroke. I'm so saddened by this news. When Beverly Hills, 90210 first started airing, I was too young to watch it. I have vivid memories of sneaking downstairs and hiding between the couch and the end table to try and watch Luke Perry as Dylan McKay because I thought he was so hot & handsome and so talented. Now as an adult, I've watched every single episode of that show multiple times and own the series on DVD. My thoughts and prayers are with his children, his family and his friends.  The stories that have come out about him this week have touched my heart. He was such a good, kind, sweet man. Heaven gained an angel, that's for sure. Credit: Google Images 2. Northern Rescue on Netflix Over the weekend, I binge watched the show Northern Rescue on Netflix and I highly recommend it. The firs

I'm trying not to feel stressed and overwhelmed but it's really hard. 2. Lady Gaga I love her acceptance speeches at the awards ceremonies this year. I still haven't seen A Star Is Born but it's on my to do list. 3. Oscars Fashion Here are some of my favorite looks of the Oscars: ^Love the color and the style.
