Five on Friday


1. NY Mets Are Going to the World Series

This team had an amazing 4-0 sweep of the Chicago Cubs in the NLCS to become National League Champions and advance to the World Series. The last time the Mets were in the World series was in 2000 and the last time they won the World Series was in 1986, the year I was born. I'm so proud to be a Mets fan and I'm super excited for the World Series! LET'S GO METS!!

2. Weekend Plans

On Saturday, I have plans to go with my mom and my grandma to go to the movies to see The Intern and to go out to eat for lunch. Other than that, I need to dust and vacuum this weekend. I also want to catch up on my DVR and do some reading as well as watch football on Sunday.

4. Sam Hunt

My all time favorite singer is Kenny Chesney and my second is Sam Hunt. I've seen Kenny Chesney in concert three times and I would love to see Sam Hunt in concert. If you haven't heard of Sam Hunt, I recommend checking out his debut album, Montevallo. His voice and music are really amazing!!

    Yes, I did like the box. It's funny, I read all the spoilers and a ton of reviews and I really thought I wasn't going to like it. But once it arrived and I opened it, I pretty much liked everything! The only thing that was a miss for me was the gift card. Books Read in January 2022

  Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

  In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much.
