Five on Friday

1. NY Mets advance to NLCS

The Mets did it! They beat the Dodgers in Game 5 ; win or go home scenario. And they won 3-2 thanks to an amazing game played by Daniel Murphy, pretty good defense, and the ability for Jacob deGrom, who didn't have his best stuff to power through and get the win. I'm so proud of the boys and I'm so happy to be a Mets fan!!

2. Ear Infection

I went to the doctor's yesterday after experiencing bad dizziness and nausea the past week. It turns out I have a right ear infection with lots of fluid built up. I'm now on medicine and I feel about 25% better than yesterday so I'm hoping it will continue to clear up.

3. Mom's Birthday

Tomorrow is my mom's birthday. My mom is not only the best mom in the world to me and my siblings, but she is my best friend. I love spending time with her. She's given me so much throughout the years through her wisdom, guidance, advice, courage, and friendship. I would not be who I am without her and I'm looking forward to celebrating her special day tomorrow!

4. My Name Is Amy & I'm a Planner Addict

I'm obsessed with planning in my Erin Condren Life Planner and I decided to show the last week in my planners. Right now I'm using the 2015 and the 2015-2016 verisons of the Life Planner and once the new year starts, I will just be using the 2015-2016 one.

And that's all I've got for today. Happy Friday, everyone!!

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
