What I'm Reminiscing About...

My trips to the lake. Unfortunately, in the fall, we were informed that the place we've stayed at since I was little, was closing. We ended up not booking a new place for this summer and not going to the lake this year. I miss the lake water so much and I hope we can go back next year.

What I've Been Up To...

I visited my family twice this summer (June 24th-July 3rd and July 24th-August 3rd). I had so much fun visiting them and making new memories together.

What I'm Dreading...

The trade deadline for baseball was yesterday and the Mets traded a bunch of players I like. I knew it was coming but I still dreaded it.

What I'm Working On...

My content schedule for my YT channel for August.

What I'm Excited About...

My trips to visit my family and spending time with them. I also went to two Mets games and even though they stink this year and lost both games, I still had a fun time with my dad.

What I'm Watching/Reading...

Watching: Mets, Hallmark movies, Season 3 of Quarterback on Netflix, Season 1 of Ransom Canyon on Netflix.
Reading: I read 8 books this month, my best reading month of the year so far. My blog post about the books I read in July will be up either tomorrow or Wednesday.

What I'm Listening To...

Morgan Wallen, Russell Dickerson, Kenny Chesney, Sam Hunt, Post Malone, Jessie James Decker, Benson Boone, O.A.R..

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

Saturday, August 1st: My dad and I had an early lunch out before we went to the Mets game. We went to the Mets game and before the game, it was a reunion celebrating the 1986 World Champions team. After the game, we came home and we watched some baseball and I went to bed early.

Sunday, August 2nd: My dad and I hung out at his condo watching baseball and just relaxing. I had lunch from the local burrito place by my dad's place that I love.

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month...

My best friend's daughter turns 4.

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...
