What's Up Wednesday: October 2024 Edition

What We're Eating This Week...

Monday: Leftovers (meatloaf)
Tuesday: Chick Fil A
Wednesday: Pizza
I'm not sure about the rest of the week.

What I'm Reminiscing About...

When the Mets were in the World Series in 2015!

What I'm Loving...

Spending time with family, spending time with my best friend and her kiddos, watching sports (my nephew's football games, baseball, NFL, college football), Hallmark movies.

What I've Been Up...

I babysat for my best friend's adorable daughter while they were at a wedding and we had so much fun. We played with blocks, read (including one book like 15 times), watched movies and cuddled, and played with toys. I did some shopping (both online and in person). I had a bestie day with her and her kiddos. We went shopping and had Chick Fil A for lunch. I've been filming and uploading videos for my YT channel.

What I'm Dreading...

Nothing at the moment.

What I'm Working On...

My content schedule for November-January for my Youtube channel.

What I'm Excited About...

The Mets made it to game 6 of the NLCS before they were eliminated. They had such a great season (especially after a miserable start to the season).

What I'm Watching/Reading...

Watching: Regular TV shows, Hallmark movies, Outer Banks, Halloween movies, baseball, my nephew's HS football games, NFL, college football.

Reading: I read 5 books this month. Recap coming soon.

What I'm Listening To...

Post Malone, George Birge, Michael Marcagi, Kelsea Ballerini, Halloween playlist.

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

Besides watching sports and movies, I'm not sure what else.

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...

Birthday's: my nephew A turns 8, my step-dad, and my best friend Christi. Thanksgiving. All things Christmas... movies, music, books, decorating. Black Friday sticker sales!

What Else Is New...

On the 1st, it was 2 years that we had to put my cat Pumpkin to sleep as she had aggressive cancer. I miss her so much.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
