One Christmas Star -Mandy Baggot (started in Nov., finished in Dec.)
I love Mandy Baggot's Christmas novels. I read 3 total last month and I think one or two last year and she has one more Christmas book that I haven't ready yet. I loved this book and I highly recommend if you love reading Christmas themed novels. I rated it 4 stars on Goodreads.
Seven Days of Us -Francesca Hornak
I had really high expectations for this book but it fell really flat for me. I wish I had enjoyed it more. I rated it 2 stars.
We Met In December -Rosie Curtis
I loved this book so much. The characters, the storyline, the setting: I just loved it all. This my second favorite book that I read in December. I rated it 4 stars.
'Tis The Season -Lorna Landvik (re-read):
This novel is written through e-mails and letters (I love books with this type of format). I really enjoy re-reading this novel. I read it in one day. I rated it 3 stars.
One Christmas Kiss In Notting Hill -Mandy Baggot
Another great Christmas novel from Mandy Baggot that I highly recommend. I love the characters she creates in her books and the storylines as well. I rated this book 4 stars.
One Christmas In Paris -Mandy Baggot
I loved this book so much. It was my favorite book that I read in December and one of my top 6 favorite books I read in 2019. I rated this book 5 stars.
What did you all read in December? What was your favorite book this month? What was your favorite book that you read in 2019?
I read Let It Snow and The Christmas Wish in December and really liked them both.
ReplyDeleteI read Let It Snow the year it came out and I loved it. I'm glad you enjoyed those two books. Thank you for commenting! :)
DeleteYou did such a great job sticking to your Christmas reading! I read One Day in December. It was cute, but not as Christmassy as I thought it would be!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I just finished two more Christmas books this month and have two more left to read. Yes, I thought it would be more Christmassy too but I still really loved it. Thank you for the comment.
Deletethe cover for the seven days of us book has always caught my eye but then i read the synopsis and it doesn't sound like my jam. so i'm glad i skipped it based on your review.
ReplyDeleteYes, I kind of speed-read through a bunch of it because I was getting tired of reading it. I just wanted to say I love your blog. (I need to start commenting more.) Thank you for the comment and stopping by my blog! :)
DeleteI've liked a lot of Lorna Landviks - it's been a while since I've read one!
ReplyDeleteThis is the only novel I've read of hers. Are any of her other novels written in letter/e-mail format? Thank you for the comment.
DeleteSorry to hear that you didn't love them all. The Seven Days and One Day in December are both on my TBR, but I won't read them until next year because I prefer to read books in the title month if it is available!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy those books. Thank you for the comment.
DeleteI read holiday books in December and have to add a bunch of these to my to read list for next year! I just added One Christmas Star and One Christmas in Paris to my list. I read Seven Days of Us a year or two ago and enjoyed it.
