1. World Autism Day

Tuesday, April 2nd was World Autism Day and April is Autism Awareness Month. My  wish is for more people to become aware of Asperger's and Autism and to not judge what they do not understand. I have Asperger's. My diagnosis doesn't define me. It inspires me to live life to the fullest and be the best person I can be every day. The challenges I've faced growing up have shaped me to be a strong and confident adult. As a child, growing up being bullied, was horrible. I hated going to school. I was sad that no one wanted to be my friend. As an adult, I know that if not for going through struggles, I would have never found my true strength.

2. Books Read in March

I read four books in March.

One In A Million –Lindsey Kelk
I rated this book 3 out of 5 stars. I love Lindsey Kelk and her novels and I have read them all. I definitely recommend them if you want a fun and light-hearted chick-lit book.

Broken Things -Lauren Oliver
I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars. I normally wouldn't have picked up a book like this but my Grandma gave me this for Christmas and I'm so glad she did. I loved this book so much and I want to read more novels by this author.

Magic Hour -Kristin Hannah
I rated this book 3 out of 5 stars. Overall, I liked this book a lot but some parts were boring to me. I loved the ending.

From Twinkle, with Love -Sandhya Menon
I rated this book 3 out of 5 stars. I really liked it and it was a really great YA novel.

3. Visit to Work

I'm on medical leave from work right now. The other day I stopped by work because I was missing the children and my co-workers and bosses. It was so great to see everyone. As soon as the kiddos saw me, they ran up to me to give me hugs. One little boy told me as I was leaving "Amy, don't go." It truly melted my heart.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series.
