What I'm Reminiscing About...

All of the wonderful memories made during the Christmas season while growing up as well as my trips back to NY to celebrate the season with my family!

What I'm Loving...

I took this week off of work as a stay-cation and I'm really enjoying the mental and physical break of not working. I have rheumatoid arthritis and other health issues and this break has been much needed. During the week off, my mom and I have been spending tons of time together, which I'm loving. We have been watching lots of Christmas movies, ate at our favorite Italian restaurant, and went to a few stores. I also had a few doctor's appointments to go to. Tomorrow, my mom and I are making sugar Christmas cookies with frosting and I'm so excited for that!

What I've Been Up To...

Working, attending doctor's appointments, spending time with my mom, spending time with my friends A & R, reading Christmas books, watching lots of Christmas movies.

What I'm Dreading...

The cold weather. Having RA, the cold weather really does a number on my bones and joints.

What I'm Working On...

Finishing up my Christmas shopping.

What I'm Excited About...

The Christmas season and all of the fun that comes with celebrating the season!

What I'm Watching/Reading...

Watching: Regular Fall TV shows & lots of Christmas movies
Reading: Christmas books

What I'm Listening To...

CHRISTMAS MUSIC!

What I'm Wearing...

Work shirts and pants at work. Comfy clothes at home. Sweaters/jeans when I'm out.

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

During the day on Saturday, I'm going to be relaxing and taking it easy because I'm going to a country music concert at night, which I'm very excited about. Sunday, I will be spending the day with my friend A, helping her decorate her place for Christmas!

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...

Country music concert, spending time with my mom, spending time with my friends, a planner conference that I will be attending with friends, local planner meet up, my niece O's birthday, Christmas & the holiday season, my birthday, New Year's Eve.

What Else Is New...

I think I covered everything!

  1. Ah, so much festivity--I love it! I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping too. I kind of hate that I feel like I'm rushing through it, but now I'm at the point where I just want to be done with it so I can chill the rest of the season haha. And now I'm starvinggg after reading about all the food you've been eating/making. The best!

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...
