You Probably Don't Know...

I decided to join another link up today. This one is hosted by Helene In Between and is about some things you probably don't know about me.

You Probably Don't Know...

I broke my wrist playing softball in seventh grade. That's the only broken bone I've had and I hope it stays that way.

I bite my nails. It's a bad habit that I've had since I was very young and I haven't been able to grow out of it. I hope one of these days that I will be able to.

I grew up spending a lot of time with my cousins. I have 11 aunts & uncles on my mom's side of the famly and I have a ton of first cousins. Summers were always spent spending tons of time with my cousins and because of this I always felt like they were an extended set of siblings.

I've always had a dog or cat in my house since I was little girl. I'm a huge animal lover and I had some of the best fur-siblings a girl could ask for. The dogs I had growing up: Charlie, Saki, & Bailey. The cats I had growing up: Gizmo & Callie. Right now, I have two cats who I love so much: Davey & Pumpkin.

I tried many sports and activities growing up but the only ones I really loved were softball and dancing. However, I'm a huge sports lover and I love attending games and watching sporting events on TV. Baseball is my favorite sport and I've loved the game since I was a little girl.

I've always wanted to have a lake house because I grew up every summer going on vacation to a lake a few years from where I lived. I have so many fun memories from those vacations. Right across the lake from where we stayed was a lake house and I always thought it would be so much fun to live in a lake house during the summer.

    1. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I love your blog!

I've been on crutches twice with bad ankle sprains so I imagine they are bad. I was in a cast from beginning of May until end of August so all of the summer before 8th grade.

  2. I'm seeing "biting nails" often in these posts! So funny, I'd say I don't but my husband would say I do... I just do it when my nails are catching on something...he'd rather wait for a nail clipper.

    1. I've been biting my nails literally since I could chew. I've broken it a few times but it's never stuck. =(

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
