Five on Friday


1. School's Out For Summer

My last day of work (I'm currently an aftercare worker at an elementary school) was yesterday. I really love my job but I do hope to find a full time job sometime in the near future. The kiddos were so excited that yesterday was the last day of school that they were bouncing off the walls. At the end of the day, I pulled up the song School's Out For Summer by Alice Cooper on Youtube and played it for my co-workers and I.

2. Summer Trip to NY

I'm going back home to NY for almost 3 1/2 weeks during the summer to visit my family. I'm so excited for a lot of quality time with them as I haven't been there since the holiday season. Along with spending time with my family, I'm hoping to go to at least one or two baseball games.

3. Song: Amazing by Janelle 

I stumbled upon this song many years ago on a blog and I love it so much. I think of my nieces & nephews whenever I hear it and it always brings tears to my eyes. It's a truly wonderful song with a beautiful message of love, awe, and wonder.


4. Minor League Baseball Game

Tonight my mom and I are attending a local minor league baseball game. I'm a huge sports lover and baseball is my favorite sport. I've loved it since I was a little girl. I haven't been to a minor league game in a few years so I'm excited for tonight.
