My Month Is Booked: December 2025

Here are the books I read in November 2025:

The Bright Side of Christmas –Morgan Elizabeth

My Rating: 3 stars

This book was pretty good. For me, I thought they were way too many steamy scenes. I don’t mind a few throughout the book but I felt like there were way too many in this book, for my personal taste. I loved the two main characters and I loved the female main characters relationship with her best friend.

Merrily Ever After: A Christmas Collection for Romance Readers –Catherine Walsh

My Rating: 3 stars (really 3.5 stars)

I thought this was a super cute collection of story stories. I was actually wishing for an entire book about each story because I thought they were all really good.

We Were Liars –e. Lockhart

My Rating: 3 stars, really 3.5 stars

This is a re-read for me. I really enjoyed this book. I liked all of the characters.

Family of Liars –e. Lockhart

My Rating: 2 stars (really 2.5 stars)

I did not enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed We Were Liars. I thought the last like 7 or 8 chapters were really good but the rest of the book, for me, was pretty boring.

A Merry Little Lie –Sarah Morgan

Rating: 5 stars

I loved this book so much. I enjoyed everything about it. I want to read her other Christmas novels as well.

Yule Be Mine –Piper Rayne

My Rating: 2 stars (really 2.5 stars)

I love a far-fetched Christmas novel (or movie) but this one was a little too far-fetched for my liking.

We Fell Apart –e. Lockhart

My Rating: 3 stars

This novel is separate from We Were Liars and Family of Liars but it does mention characters and events that happened in those books. I enjoyed this story but it wasn’t a favorite.

  1. Yay, thanks for linking up! :] Since A Merry Little Lie was your only 5-star rating this month, I'm most intrigued by that one -- it looks like a cute read!
