What I'm Reminiscing About...

I've been thinking a lot lately about when my nephews and nieces were little. They have grown up so fast. (2 nephews in college, 2 nieces in college, a nephew who's a senior in HS, a niece who's a junior in HS, a nephew who's a sophomore in HS, a nephew in 7th grade, a nephew in 5th grade, and a nephew in 2nd grade).

What I'm Loving...

Spending time with my mom, spending time with my cats, watching baseball, visit to see my family.

What I've Been Up To...

I visited my family for two weeks this month. I had a good time seeing everyone but my pain is so bad that it affects so much of my everyday life.

^Personal photo that I took a while back when I was going to visit my family.^

What I'm Dreading...

Being in pain every day.

What I'm Working On...

Filming videos for my Youtube channel and catching up in my planners.

What I'm Excited About...

I was excited to see my family and spend quality time with them.

What I'm Watching...

Watching: Mets baseball, Little League World Series, Quarterback Season 2 on Netflix, Receiver on Netflix, The Waterfront on Netflix, Love Thy Nader on Hulu.
Reading: I'm currently reading Slow Burn Summer by Josie Silver. My blog post about the books I read in August will be up soon.

What I'm Listening To...

Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Russell Dickerson, Bailey Zimmerman, my summer playlist on Spotify.

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

Spending time with my mom, watching baseball, filming for my Youtube channel.

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month...

My nephew N is starting his senior year of high school and my nephew J starts his sophomore year of college and both of their football seasons start. I'm so thankful for technology that I'll be able to stream their games. I'm also excited for the last month of regular season baseball games (LET'S GO METS). September also brings the new seasons of the NFL and college football starting. My sister K's birthday is at the end of the month and on the 26th, it will be the 17th anniversary of adopting my cat, Davey Eli. I'm excited for fall and all things pumpkin. I'm also excited for the return of new seasons of some of the TV shows I watch (some premiere in September, while others premiere in October).

What Else Is New...

I really hope that the Mets make it to the post-season!

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
