Books Read in June 2023

The Fastball –Megan Cousins (Wild Pitches #3)

My Rating: 4 stars

A romance series with themes of baseball? Sign me right up! I really enjoyed this book and the relationship between the main characters and the male main character and his family. I’m excited that there will be at least one more book in this series.

Six summers to fall –C.W. Farnsworth

My Rating: 4 stars

I really enjoyed this novel. I am excited to read more from this author. I loved the relationship between the main characters. I also loved the setting (any book that takes place at the lake always makes me so happy).

Open Road Summer –Emery Lord

My Rating: 3 stars

I loved the relationship between the two best friends in this novel and how they were always there for each other during hard times. I really like this author and her writing style.

Mr. Wrong Number –Lynn Painter

My Rating: 4 stars

I love Lynn Painter’s novels and really enjoyed this one as well. I really loved the relationship between the two main characters and how their relationship developed throughout the novel.

The Love Wager –Lynn Painter

My Rating: 4 stars

Another fabulous novel by Lynn Painter. I really love her writing style and the characters she creates.

Two Truths and a Lie –Meg Mitchell Moore

My Rating: 5 stars

I picked this novel up at random at Barnes & Noble and I’m so glad I did. It was so good. I love how it is told from 4 different POV’s. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Prepped –Bethany Mangle

My Rating: 3 stars

This book was very different from the first Bethany Mangle novel I read. It was good but it was also very sad for multiple reasons which is why I gave it a 3 star rating instead of a 4. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good novel, it’s just sometimes hard for me to read sad books.
