What's Up Wednesday: September Edition

1. What We're Eating This Week

Monday: Sausage & Corn
Tuesday: Zaxby's
I'm not sure what the rest of the week looks like.

2. What I'm Reminiscing About...

Remembering how much fun this time of year was last year as the Mets were headed to the playoffs after being crowned NL East Champions. The team had an amazing Post-season and made it to the World Series where they ultimately lost to the Kansas City Royals.

3. What I'm Loving...

That it's finally FALL and the time of year for pumpkin everything has officially begun!

4. What We've Been Up To...

Friday, September 2nd, my school job was cancelled as Hurricane Hermine belted our state with lots of rain & wind. I attended an awesome planner meet up this past weekend with my friend, Colleen and we had a great time. I had another planner meet up on the 17th. On September 26th, it marked 7 years since Davey Eli (my cat/fur baby) has been with us. Next February, he will be eight years old.

5. What I'm Dreading...

Nothing at the moment.

6. What I'm Working On...

Upcoming blog posts.

7. What I'm Excited About...

The new Alex & Sierra album coming out tomorrow! I love their music and I am so excited and ready to hear new music from their!

8. What I'm Watching/Reading:

Watching: I recently discussed what I'm watching in my last blog post about the new Fall shows premiering and the return of my favorites. This September, I've also been watching lots of baseball and old episodes of Baywatch.

Reading: I have been in a reading rut the last two months which is so unlike me. I'm currently reading The Woman Who Stole My Life by Marian Keyes but I'm having a hard time getting into it even though I usually love all of Marian Keyes' novels.

9. What I'm Listening To...

Kenny Chesney, Ed Sheeran, Jana Kramer, Sam Hunt

10. What I'm Wearing...

More of the usual, lol.

11. What I'm Doing This Weekend...

I'm going to be getting some things done at home and other than that, I will be relaxing.

12. What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...

My mom's birthday and celebrating with her, my nephew M turns 2, my dad's birthday. I'm also excited for post-season baseball, three day weekend for Columbus Day, seeing The Girl On The Train, planner meet ups, new book releases, Halloween, Fall & pumpkin everything!

13. What Else Is New...

I had a doctor's appointment today with my ENT doctor and I will be having tonsils out around the holidays in December when I have time off from my job.

Bonus Question:
What is your favorite Fall food?

Anything & everything pumpkin!

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
