Books Read in July

Here are the books I read in July:

1. Summer Days & Summer Nights -Mulitiple Authors
(started in June, finished in July)
3.5 out of 5 stars
This is a short story anthology about Summer love. Last Winter, the editor of this book, Stephanie Perkins, came out with a Holiday short story anthology. While I didn't think the Summer edition was as good as the Holiday one, I still really enjoyed it.

2. The Unexpected Everything -Morgan Matson
4 out of 5 stars
Morgan Matson is one of my current favorite Young Adult authors and this novel is her latest release. Just like all of her other books, I really enjoyed this novel. My favorite novel of hers is Amy & Roger's Epic Detour and that was the first book I read of hers.

3. The Summer I Turned Pretty -Jenny Han
3 out of 5 stars
This was the first novel in a trilogy by Jenny Han. One of my favorite things about this series aside from the story line was the setting of the novel.

4. It's Not Summer Without You -Jenny Han
3 out of 5 stars

5. We'll Always Have Summer -Jenny Han
4 out of 5 stars

6. Among The Wicked -Linda Castillo
5 out of 5 stars
This is the eighth novel in the Kate Burkholder series, an Amish mystery series, which is one of my all time favorite book series'. The novels are centered around Kate Burkholder, the Chief of Police in a mostly Amish community. Kate has an unique perspective as she is formerly Amish. I wholeheartedly recommend this series if you love a good mystery!

7. First Comes Love -Emily Giffin
5 out of 5 stars
Yet another fabulous new novel by an author that I love dearly. I'm not great at writing book reviews without giving too much away but I will say that I really enjoyed this novel and read it very quickly.

What books did you read in July?

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
