Five on Friday

1. Daily Bumps Youtube Channel

The Daily Bumps Youtube Channel is easily my favorite channel on Youtube. It is a daily vlog (video blog) that follows the lives of Bryan, Missy, & Ollie. The family is so fun to watch and you can just tell how awesome, funny, and amazing they are from their videos. I found their channel about 2 months ago and I've watched every day since. When I got back from my trip to visit family, one of the first things I did on the computer was catch up on the vlogs I missed while I was away. If you're looking for a fun vlog to follow or just fun videos to watch, I would definitely recommend this channel with TWO THUMBS UP!!

2. First Day Back To Work

My summer vacation is officially over as yesterday started the first day of school. I had a wonderful summer and a great trip to NY (which I will I have a blog post about this weekend). The summer went by so quick, as is the year in general! I can't believe it's almost September!

3. Fall Is Coming

With September right around the corner, we welcome in my favorite season: FALL! Fall in the South is very different from the Fall in the North and I always find myself wanting to spend the Fall (and Summer, too) months in NY because of that reason. I miss the orange, yellow, and red leaves falling from the trees and the crisp Autumn air. I indulge in Fall as much as I can down here but it's just not the same. I brought my first pumpkin yogurts of the season and I can't tell you how amazing it was to taste the flavor of pumpkin again.

4. Bath & Body Works Haul

I needed some new soaps & anti-bacs from Bath & Body Works and I was so delighted to see that pumpkin and fall scents are back in stock for the season! Since they changed the shape of the anti-bacs (which I use all the time at work and while out & about), I need to get a new holder for them. I got 3 soaps (Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte, Maple Sugar Kiss, & Crisp Morning Air), 5 anti-bacs (3 Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte and one each of Pumpkin Cupcake & Pumpkin Pecan Waffle). I also got the perfume of Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte since I had a coupon for $8 off of that. I also had a 20% off coupon so my mom and I scored some great deals!

5. New Library Reads

I picked up three books at the library yesterday that I have had on my TBR list. I got Olivia Joules & The Overactive Imagination by Helen Fielding, Second Chance Friends by Jennifer Scott, and This One Is Mine by Maria Semple.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
