My Month Is Booked: July 2025 Edition

Here are the books I read in June 2025:

A First Time for Everything –K.L. Walther

My Rating: 5 stars

Another amazing novel from start to finish. I absolutely adore K.L. Walther and her writing. I loved everything about this book and this is definitely one of those books I wish I could read again for the first time.

Atmosphere –Taylor Jenkins Reid

My Rating: 5 stars

Wow, this book was incredible. I enjoyed it so much. I have loved all of Taylor Jenkins Reid novels. A significant part of this story was the relationship between the main character and her niece and I loved that storyline (and the other storylines in the book as well) so much. As an aunt to 10 nephews and nieces, that storyline really touched me.

The It Girl –Ruth Ware

My Rating: 4 stars

This is the first novel I read by Ruth Ware. I really enjoyed it. I totally did not see the ending coming. I definitely want to read more of her books in the future.

Love, Theoretically –Ali Hazelwood

My Rating: 3 stars

I love Ali Hazelwood and her novels but this one wasn’t one of my favorites. I did enjoy it but I wouldn’t re-read it.

Parents Weekend –Alex Finlay

My Rating: 5 stars

This books was so good. I picked it up on a whim because I thought it looked really interesting and I read it in one day. I could not put it down. This is my first time reading a novel by Alex Finlay and I was halfway through this novel when I went and put all of his other books on hold at the library. This story hooked me from the first few chapters. I loved everything about this book and I did not see the ending coming. This book was told in multiple POV’s.

Every Last Fear –Alex Finlay

My Rating: 5 stars

Another amazing novel by Alex Finlay. This was told in multiple POV’s and I love that his books are multiple POV’s. I really love his writing.

What Have We Done –Alex Finlay

My Rating: 4 stars (really 3.5)

While I did not like this novel as much as I loved Parents Weekend & Every Last Fear, I still really liked it. Because of the multiple POV’s, the number of characters, and going back and forth from past to present day, I found it a little hard to keep up with all of the details.
