My Month Is Booked: June 2025 Edition

Here are the books I read in May:

One Golden Summer –Carley Fortune

My Rating: 5 stars

Another amazing novel from Carley Fortune. Since 2022, when her debut novel came out, her books have been my favorite book of the year each year. Her writing style is just so lovely. The setting of this book is my very favorite… it takes place at a lake. I cannot rave enough about Carley Fortune and her books and I highly recommend all of them.

One Death at a Time –Abbi Waxman

My Rating: 3 stars (really 3.5)

I really enjoy this author. This is her latest novel. This was her first mystery novel and I enjoyed it a-lot. I didn’t see a lot of the twists coming.

Worth The Risk (Watertown University Book 1) –Clara Mott

My Rating: 4 stars

I really enjoyed this book. I really loved the relationship between the main characters. It was so beautiful to see how supportive of each other they were. I loved the relationships that the main female character had with their friends and that the main male character had with his family. I’m very excited to read the next two books in the series.

Worth the Chance (Watertown University Book 2) –Clara Mott

My Rating: 3 stars (really 3.5)

This is the second novel in the Watertown University series and I enjoyed it. Like the first book, I loved the relationship between the main characters as well as the relationships they had with their friends and family. I’m really enjoying this series.

Worth the Shot (Water University Books 3) –Clara Mott

My Rating: 3 stars (really 3.5)

This is the third and last novel in the Watertown University series. Like the first two books in the series, I loved the relationships that the main characters had with each other as well as their family and friends. I really enjoyed this series.

Problematic Summer Romance –Ali Hazelwood

My Rating: 5 stars

Another fabulous novel from Ali Hazelwood. I read this book in one day because I could not put it down. This novel focuses on two of the secondary characters that were featured in the book Not in Love. The main characters in that book, were secondary characters in this book. I loved everything about this book: the characters, the love story, the setting.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
