Five on Friday --> March 18th, 2016

1. St. Patrick's Day

I'm 50% Irish and 50% Italian so my family has always celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Since St. Patrick's Day fell on a weekday, we're having our St. Patrick's meal on Saturday. I'm so excited for corn beef, cabbage, potatoes/carrots, and Irish Soda Bread.

^I posted this collage to Instagram yesterday with the caption saying "Happy St. Patrick's Day from my green eyed fur babies!"^

2. Spring Training/Baseball Season

I'm so ready for opening day of baseball season. The NY Mets made it to the World Series this year but lost to the Kansas City Royals. Hopefully this year, they can win it all! I'm so excited to watch baseball on TV and hopefully I can attend a game in NY this summer when I'm up visiting my family. The Mets first game in the regular season is ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball game at night against the Kansas City Royals in a match-up of last year's World Series. The Mets home opener is on Friday, April 8th against the Philadelphia Phillies. Let's Go Mets!!

4. Fuller House

I have 3 or 4 episodes left to watch of the Fuller House series on Netflix. The series is so cute. I love how it reminds me of the reasons that I love the original Full House. Full House was one of my favorite TV shows as a kid. I think the jokes are cute and I love the mentions from things that were in the original Full House as well as the flashbacks and famous catchphrases that the characters had. I'm really glad that it's been renewed for a second season!

    1. Thank you! I love Irish Soda Bread. My mom always used to make a bunch of loaves of it growing up because we loved to have it for breakfast too and as snacks. SO yummy! I hope you enjoyed it!

Books Read in February 2022

  The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

  Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

  In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
