Pop Sugar Must Have Box: January 2016

I love reading and watching videos about subscription boxes. I subscribe to Pop Sugar Must Have Box. This is my third year receiving Pop Sugar Must Have box. The box has allowed me to find new brands and products that I've never heard of that I love. This year, in addition to writing a blog post about each month's box, I'm also going to be filming an un-boxing video for my Youtube channel.

January 2016 Unboxing Video:

Here is what I received in my box this month:

^What Inspired January's box^

^Information card^

Pehr Designs Pebble Speck Bin
Retails for: $40
I absolutely love this bin! It's such a cute design. The fabric is so sturdy and durable and it's a wonderful sized bin, not too huge but not too small either. It's the perfect size. I'm going to use this bin to store some of my planner supplies! This is my favorite product from this month's box!

Patchology FlashMasque Trio
Retails for: $20
From information card: "These fast-acting facial sheets will revitalize, hydrate, and illuminate your skin in just five minutes, and better yet, there's no rinsing required." These facial sheets look really great and I'm very interested to try them.

Project 7, INC Summer Snow Sugar Free Gum
Retails for: $1.99
I've seen this brand in Target and have always wanted to try it but haven't. This gum tastes just like a snow cone. My favorite thing about the Project 7 company is that proceeds from every seventh pack purchased go toward anti bullying efforts in the United States. I think this is amazing and I will definitely buy this gum in the future knowing that proceeds go to such a great cause. I'm not sure about all of the other flavors out there but I know I've see a birthday cake flavor at Target before.

Blue Sky Designer Weekly Planner
Retails for: $15.99
I'm a huge Erin Condren fan and I'm a devoted fan of her Life Planners. With that being said, I'm going to use this planner to keep track of my weight loss, my exercise/steps/miles, and the foods I eat during the day.

Not Soap, Radio Bath & Shower Gel Gift Set
Retails for: $22
I love shower gels as I use them every day and I'm always excited to try new brands. This set is so cute with the sayings on each of the bottles. 5 bottles are included in this set and I'm really excited to try each one!

Spark Joy by Marie Kondo
Retails for: $18.99
From information card: "New York Times bestselling author and expert cleaning consultant Marie Kondo teaches us how to spark joy in our lives through tidying up. This illustrated manual uses her signature KonMari method to help you stay organized in the New Year." I love books and reading is one of my favorite things to do. However, I'm more of a novel person. I also love to read sports books/novels and biographies of celebrities and athletes. This was the only product in this months box that I didn't like. If my mom wants this book, I'm going to give it to her and if she doesn't, I'm going to put it up for trade on the My Subscription Addiction swap site.

Special Extra:

ChapStick Total Hydration 100% Natural Soothing Vanilla
Retails for: $2.99
This is a new item from the ChapStick company and I'm excited to give it a try.

I really loved and enjoyed this months box. The only product I don't like is the book. I love when Pop Sugar sends books as long as their novels so if a novel had been included, this box would've been the best. However, with that being said, the rest of the box was amazing and I especially love the bin and the body gels!

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
