Pop Sugar Must Have Box: May 2015

Here is what I received in my May Pop Sugar Must Have Box:

^The front of the information card^

^What inspired the May box^

Sisters of Los Angeles Surf Sand Love Beach Towel
Retails for: $40
I love this towel!! The colors and the saying are so awesome and great for summer. I wouldn't buy this on my own as $40 is a really riduclous amount of money to spend on a towel. However, that's one of the reasons I love Pop Sugar box so much because you get great products that under most circumstances you normally wouldn't buy for yourself. This is my favorite item of the May box.

Hammond's Candies McCraw's Flat Taffy
Retails for: $1
This was really yummy and I found myself wishing the box came with more than one. I have a huge sugar mouth (not tooth because all my teeth are sweet, lol).

Sage & Row Bare Shave Cream
Retails for: $17
This shaving cream looks awesome and I'm so excited to try it out!

and

Batiste Dry Shampoo
Retails for: $4
I've never used dry shampoo before but I will give it a try and see how it works for my hair.

Middle Kingdom Mini Plum Vase in Coral Red
Retails for: $20
The vase is pretty but it's really small and I don't really have any use for it so I gave it to my mom.

and

Kitsch Tri'd & True Y-Shaped Necklace
Retails for: $32
First off, I'm not a big necklace fan. I really don't like wearing things around my neck. Second, I don't find this necklace appealing at all and even if I did like necklaces, I doubt that I would wear this one. And third, I would never pay $32 for this necklace when it looks like something you can get at Claire's for $5. My mom liked the necklace so I gave it to her.

This box wasn't my favorite but I really loved the towel and am excited to try the shaving cream. The taffy was a nice treat and I'm curious to see how the dry shampoo will work. With the vase and necklace, I would have rather had two other items like a photo frame, candle, or another home decoration item and for the jewerly item, I would have loved a  cute bracelet or a pretty ring.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
