My Month is Booked: December 2023 (Books I read in November)

Books I Read in November:

The Holiday Mix-UpGinny Baird

My Rating: 3 stars

This book was cute but I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would. I felt like it was a little repetitive. The ending was really sweet, though.

There’s something about Merry –Codi Hall

My Rating: 5 stars

I loved this book so much. The characters, the setting, the plot… I loved it all.

Along Came Holly –Codi Hall

My Rating: 5 stars

Another great novel by Codi Hall. This book, There’s something About Merry and Nick & Noel’s Christmas Playlist are part of the Mistletoe Romance series and I highly recommend this series. The characters, the setting and the plot for all of these books are just so lovely.

The Christmas Orphan’s Club –Becca Freeman

My Rating: 4 stars

I really enjoyed this novel. I liked the characters, the setting, and the plot. The only thing I didn’t like about this novel was that it was flipping around between different Christmases during 10 years and it was sometimes very hard to keep up with what year/Christmas it was talking about.

The Christmas Clash –Suzanne Park

My Rating: 4 stars

I thought this book was very cute. However, I would have loved to have more Christmas content mentioned throughout the book as that was the only thing I found lacking.

Betting On You –Lynn Painter

My Rating: 5 stars

Another amazing novel by Lynn Painter. This book sucked me right in just like her other novels. I read this in 2 days and I probably would have read it in one day but it didn’t arrive (I pre-ordered it) until 3:30 in the afternoon. I loved the characters so much.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

When the Mets were in the World Series in 2015! What I'm Loving... Spending time with family, spending time with my best friend and her kiddos, watching sports (my nephew's football games, baseball, NFL, college football), Hallmark movies. What I've Been Up... I babysat for my best friend's adorable daughter while they were at a wedding and we had so much fun. We played with blocks, read (including one book like 15 times), watched movies and cuddled, and played with toys. I did some shopping (both online and in person). I had a bestie day with her and her kiddos. We went shopping and had Chick Fil A for lunch. I've been filming and uploading videos for my YT channel. What I'm Dreading... Nothing at the moment. What's Up Wednesday: January 2025 Edition

What We're Eating This Week... Monday: Pizza Tuesday: Caesar Salad Wednesday: Fajitas Thursday: Baked ziti Friday: Leftovers I'm not sure about Saturday & Sunday What I'm Reminiscing About... I have been looking at photos of my nieces and nephews from when they were younger and thinking of all the special memories we shared. What I'm Loving... I've been loving all the football. I really wanted the Buffalo Bills to make it into the Superbowl but sadly they did not. I've also been loving: reading, cuddles with my cats, filming for my Youtube channel, watching my nephew Nicky's basketball games (on streaming). What I've Been Up To... My mom had surgery on her foot so I've been taking care of her. I've also been watching lots of movies, TV shows, and sports. My niece came home from college for a weekend and we went to the bookstore and had coffee there and got some books. I purchased some books for myself and two books for my niece. Credit: Pip...
