What's Up Wednesday: February 2020

What We're Eating This Week...

Monday: Buffalo Wild Wings (my go to order: Crispy chicken wrap with no sauce and French Fries)
Tuesday: We had some appetizers left over from the Superbowl that we never used so we all split some pigs in a blanket, mozzarella sticks, and a frozen pizza.
I'm not sure about the rest of the week.

What I'm Reminiscing About...

The 2019 Wild for Planners Go Wild Planner conference. I'm so sad that I'm unable to attend the 2020 conference but I hope I can attend again in 2021.

What I'm Loving...

Spending time with my mom, spending time with my friend A and her son B, spending time with my cats, reading, watching TV shows and movies.

What I've Been Up To...

Spending time with family and friends, making planner videos, watching TV/movies and Youtube, reading.

What I'm Dreading...

This isn't something I'm dreading, rather it's something that is annoying me. There are so many books I want to read (#bookworm) and it's annoying when my library or the surrounding libraries don't have them. I can't afford to buy books at the moment and there are so many great books I want to read but I can't because the libraries don't have them and it's super frustrating.

What I'm Working On...

Making Youtube videos.

What I'm Excited About...

I got to spend the day with my best friend A and her son B last week. We went to Target, got Starbucks, and we also went to Office Depot, Walmart and Michael's. It was so nice to spend quality time with them.

What I'm Wearing...

At home: lounge clothes/pajamas
Out: shirts/sweaters, leggings and jeggings

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

As of right now, I don't have any plans.

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...

My nephews J & M have birthdays, my friends C, M & L have birthdays, and St. Patrick's Day!

What Else Is New...

I think I mentioned everything.

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
