What I'm Reminiscing About...

My trips back home during the Christmas season to visit my family in New York and spending Christmas and my birthday with them.

What I've Been Up To...

I saw Brett Young in concert with my friend, Lisa. Tyler Rich & Rachel Wammack opened up for him and they were all amazing. Aside from the Kenny Chesney concerts, I've attended, this is definitely one of the best concerts I've been to. I spent a Sunday with my bestie, A. We went to Target, got takeout hibachi, decorated her new condo, listened to Christmas music and chatted, and we baked and decorated Christmas cookies with her son, B! I attended Winter Planner Land. I've attended this conference all three years and it's so amazing every time! My niece/God-daughter O, celebrated her 13th birthday. That same day, it marked 12 years since I met my favorite athlete, David Wright. After work one day, we had our staff holiday dinner at a local restaurant. At work, we had our holiday program where my class sang songs for their parents. After the program, we had a party for the kids and parties back in our classroom. We also had our Polar Express Day where we all wear pajamas to work and watch the Polar Express with all of the different age groups. For snack, we have hot chocolate for the kids and they make their own s'mores.

What I'm Dreading...

The Christmas season ending for the year. I always get so bummed right after the Christmas season because you go for a long time with all of this festiveness and then just like that, in a blink of an eye, it's over for another year.

What I'm Working On...

Nothing at the moment.

What I'm Excited About...

I was so excited for all of the things I mentioned in the What I've Been Up To section. I'm excited for Christmas and my birthday.

^I will be having a blog post of the books I read in September-December sometime this coming week.^

What I'm Listening To...

All of the Christmas music!

What I'm Wearing...

At work: Work shirt, pants
At home: Comfy clothes/pajamas

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

Relaxing and enjoying the Christmas season. I will be watching lots of Christmas movies, catching up on Youtube videos, reading my book, and doing some cleaning in my room.

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month...

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

Books Read in January 2022

Heartstopper (Volume 3) -Alice Oseman While I was back home visiting my family for Christmas, I went to the mall with my dad and my nephews but I've been dealing with some health issues and my pain was really bad that day (and the mall was super crowded) so I ended up sitting in a chair at Barnes & Noble and reading the first two volumes of the Heartstopper series while they were shopping. I like this series. I love graphic novels but my library system doesn't have a lot of the ones I want to read and I will not buy graphic novels because I read them in a day. I rated this book 3 stars. Blame It On The Mistletoe -Beth Garrod I absolutely adored and loved this book so much. The characters, the plot, the setting... I loved it all. I rated this book 5 stars. Adequate Yearly Progress -Roxanna Elden I did not enjoy this book at all. I rated it 1 star. All I Want For Christmas -Wendy Loggia This is another super cute Christmas novel. I wasn't able to get to all of the Chr...

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. It was such a cute, fun, and festive read. This is on my list of my favorite books I've read this year. I rated this book 4 stars. The last two books I read this month are also apart of a series. I rated both of them 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 1) & Heartstopper (Volume 2) -Alice Oseman Top 10 Favorite Books of the Year: 1.       Malibu Rising –Taylor Jenkins Reid 2.               ...
