Five on Friday & Blog Hiatus


1. New York Trip

I will be in NY on vacation visiting my family for a while starting next week. I'm so excited to spend quality time with my family. Family means everything to me and it's really hard for me living away from the majority of my family so trips back home to visit are always so special to me.

2. Job Search

I've been on the search for a full time job for a while now and I'm not having look finding many openings. I'm trying to keep my spirits up but it does get frustrating after a while. I just need to keep the faith and know that things work out for the best in the long run.

3. New Book

A while back, I watched a movie on Lifetime called An Amish Murder and I loved it. I found out that the movie was based off the first book in an Amish mystery series/the Kate Burkholder series by Linda Castillo. I read book one and loved it so much and I have read all of the other books in the series. This series is one of my favorite ones that I've read as an adult. The 7th book in the series just came out and it's called After The Storm. I'm 100 pages into it and it's just as amazing as all of the other books in the series. If you like mysteries, I definitely suggest reading this series.



4. Fun Night Out

Tonight, my mom and I are going to see a local music show that has cover singers that sound just like the real people. I'm really excited to go because tonight's show features Kenny Chesney and he is my favorite singer.

5. Blog Hiatus

Since I will be in NY for a while and I won't be on the computer much, I will be putting my blog on hiatus until I get back. The first day I'm back I will be back from the hiatus and I will recap my trip.

Books Read In December 2021 & End of Year Book Survey

  In December, I read 6 books. The first three books I read are apart of a series. The series is called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. I rated all three of these books 3 stars on the Goodreads website. This was a super cute series. I really enjoyed these books. They were fun, light reads. I think the fourth book in the series comes out in 2021. Book 1: The Tourist Attraction Book 2: Mistletoe & Mr. Right Book 3: Enjoy The View The Holiday Switch -Tif Marcelo I loved this book so much. Books Read In November 2020

  In November, I read 5 books. Three are new to me and 2 are re-reads. All images are from Goodreads except the first photo is from Amazon. Love Your Life -Sophie Kinsella I liked this book. It wasn't my favorite novel of Sophie Kinsella's but I still recommend it and I did enjoy it. I rated this book 3 stars on Goodreads.com. Christmas At Fireside Cabins -Jenny Hale Another great Christmas novel from Jenny Hale. I highly recommend all of her Christmas books. The story, the setting, the characters... are just so sweet and fun. I rated this book 4 stars. In A Holidaze -Christina Lauren This is my first time reading a book from Christina Lauren and I loved it. I have the rest of their books on my TBR list. I really enjoyed this book. It had a really interesting plot and I loved the characters and the setting so much. I rated this book 4 stars.
