it's the most wonderful time of the year...

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! I hope you're all having a lovely start to December and the holiday season.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

I have finished my Christmas shopping. I finished early this year due to going home to visit my family and home state for the holidays.

I love this time of year.. the joy, peace, love, and magic of the season is one of my favorite things about the holiday season.

I have been listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies since November 1st because I love to celebrate both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays as long as possible. I'm nuts for the holidays and I've grown up that way and I can honestly say that I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love...
spending quality time with my family
giving thanks for my family & friends
watching the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting
seeing the Tree in person
baking Christmas cookies
decorating for the holidays
shopping for presents for my family
writing out Christmas cards for my family
listening to Christmas music
watching Christmas movies
reading lots of festive blog posts around the holiday season
donating to the less fortunate
^I do this as much as I can all year but I do a little extra around the holiday season^
going to the light show
watching holiday specials
attending holiday events

What are some special things you and your families like to do this time of year?

Books Read in February 2022

The Code For Love & Heartbreak -Jillian Cantor I saw this book on sale for $10 and thought it looked interesting. It was a cute story line. A little repetitive at places but overall I enjoyed it. I rated it 3 stars on the Goodreads website. When Less Becomes More -Emily Ley I love Emily Ley's books and I had the pleasure of meeting her at one of the Wild For Planners Go Wild Planner conferences. She is super sweet! I really enjoy her personal development books. I rated this book 3 stars. Heartstopper (Volume 4) -Alice Oseman I love this series so much. I love graphic novels and I really wish my library had more of them. I rated this book 4 stars. Bad Moms -Nora McInerny I like this movie (and the sequel A Bad Mom's Christmas) and I saw this at a discount store and I had no idea it was made into a novel. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite book ever since I knew everything that happened since it stuck very close to the movie. I rated it 3 stars. Life, Unscheduled -K...

What's Up Wednesday: October 2024 Edition

What We're Eating This Week... Monday: Leftovers (meatloaf) Tuesday: Chick Fil A Wednesday: Pizza I'm not sure about the rest of the week. What I'm Reminiscing About... When the Mets were in the World Series in 2015! What I'm Loving... Spending time with family, spending time with my best friend and her kiddos, watching sports (my nephew's football games, baseball, NFL, college football), Hallmark movies. What I've Been Up... I babysat for my best friend's adorable daughter while they were at a wedding and we had so much fun. We played with blocks, read (including one book like 15 times), watched movies and cuddled, and played with toys. I did some shopping (both online and in person). I had a bestie day with her and her kiddos. We went shopping and had Chick Fil A for lunch. I've been filming and uploading videos for my YT channel. What I'm Dreading... Nothing at the moment. What I'm Working On... My content schedule for November-January for m...

What's Up Wednesday: January 2025 Edition

What We're Eating This Week... Monday: Pizza Tuesday: Caesar Salad Wednesday: Fajitas Thursday: Baked ziti Friday: Leftovers I'm not sure about Saturday & Sunday What I'm Reminiscing About... I have been looking at photos of my nieces and nephews from when they were younger and thinking of all the special memories we shared. What I'm Loving... I've been loving all the football. I really wanted the Buffalo Bills to make it into the Superbowl but sadly they did not. I've also been loving: reading, cuddles with my cats, filming for my Youtube channel, watching my nephew Nicky's basketball games (on streaming). What I've Been Up To... My mom had surgery on her foot so I've been taking care of her. I've also been watching lots of movies, TV shows, and sports. My niece came home from college for a weekend and we went to the bookstore and had coffee there and got some books. I purchased some books for myself and two books for my niece. Credit: Pip...
