Confession Session

I Confess... …that missing my family in NY never gets any easier. I miss out on so much with them: birthdays, holidays, my nieces & nephews sports & activities and everything else. It’s hard only getting to see them a few times a year. I miss them all so much especially my nieces & nephews. Being an aunt is my favorite thing in the world and it’s so hard not getting to see them a lot. I hate it. …this pollen is driving me insane. My eyes are a big, itchy, watery, red mess and it’s driving me crazy. They hurt so much and are constantly irritating and bothering me. …that I’m scared to have my tonsils removed. I’ve only had one surgery in my lifetime (gallbladder removal). While the surgery itself went well, I had a lot of complications afterwards so I’m very afraid of having another surgery. …I couldn’t be more excited for Spring Break to start. Today is my last day of work before having 10 days off (including weekends). I plan on cleaning out my closets,

1. St. Patrick's Day I'm 50% Irish and 50% Italian so my family has always celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Since St. Patrick's Day fell on a weekday, we're having our St. Patrick's meal on Saturday. I'm so excited for corn beef, cabbage, potatoes/carrots, and Irish Soda Bread. ^I posted this collage to Instagram yesterday with the caption saying "Happy St. Patrick's Day from my green eyed fur babies!"^ 2. Spring Training/Baseball Season I'm so ready for opening day of baseball season. The NY Mets made it to the World Series this year but lost to the Kansas City Royals. Hopefully this year, they can win it all! I'm so excited to watch baseball on TV and hopefully I can attend a game in NY this summer when I'm up visiting my family. The Mets first game in the regular season is ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball game at night against the Kansas City Royals in a match-up of last year's World Series. The Mets home

Weekending #2

Saturday: I attended a planner meet up a few hours from where I live and then my mom and I spent the night at my aunt's house. We had pizza for dinner and my cousin, his wife, and their kids came over for desert. At night, my mom, aunt, and I watched Sommersby which is an older movie with Richard Gere and Jodie Foster. I really liked it. ^Planner stack from the meet up^ Sunday: My mom and I drove home. On the way home, we stopped at Moe's for lunch. I did some things around the house when I got home and then I did my first Periscope video. I watched some TV shows I had recorded on my DVR and just relaxed the rest of the day/night. ^I saw this quote on Reese Witherspoon's Instagram and I absolutely love it!^

1. Etsy Haul Video In the past few months, I made some more Etsy purchases because I'm a total planner and sticker addict. LOL. I ordered from the shops: Libbie & Co., Whimsical Plans, It's Planning Time, and Notions From Nonny. I always do a video for my Youtube channel sharing my Etsy haul. Here is the video if you want to check it out. 2. Turks & Caicos I'm so excited to share that I will be going back to Turks & Caicos next year for a vacation. I went to Turks & Caicos once before, as a gift from graduating from college. I went in February of 2012 and I fell in love with the Caribbean ocean and the resort we stayed at was amazing. I've been wanting to go back again and I'm so glad that I will be able to. ^Me in Turks & Caicos in 2012^ 3.
